Expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment of Concussion

One minute you are passing the football, soccer or basketball, the next you are tackled to the ground or receive a knock to the head and you sustain a potential Concussion. Concussions can result in physical, cognitive and emotional symptoms that can make returning to your everyday activities, physical activities and sport challenging.

Recreational and amateur sports are played every week in Tasmania, by a range of individuals of all ages. These sports often do not have an experienced health professional onsite when being played.

Following a suspected Concussion and as per Australian medical guidelines, a Concussion diagnosis must be formally made by a Doctor.

At Mint Physiotherapy, our highly experienced Doctor and Concussion Physiotherapist specialise in Concussion diagnosis and management. They work collaboratively to ensure you safely return to school, work and sport following a Concussion.
